Refunds and Cancellations
Eligibility, timeframes, and process for refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling of register review engagements.
Scope
These terms apply to professional engagements with Cloudapitools for fixed asset register reviews and related fieldwork described on this site. They do not cover goods, software licences, or subscriptions, which we do not sell.
Deposit
A 40% commencement deposit is ordinarily required to reserve fieldwork dates. The deposit is credited against the final fee.
Cancellation by the client
- More than 14 days before the agreed fieldwork start: full refund of the deposit, less any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred with your written approval (for example specialised site access fees).
- 7 to 14 days before start: 50% of the deposit may be retained for calendar disruption; the remainder is refunded.
- Fewer than 7 days before start, or after fieldwork has begun: the deposit is non-refundable. Work completed to date is invoiced at the agreed rates; unfinished portions of the fee are not charged.
Cancellation by Cloudapitools
If we must cancel for reasons within our control, you may choose a full refund of sums paid for undelivered work or a rescheduled date at no extra fee for the cancelled portion.
Rescheduling
One reschedule with at least 7 days’ notice is ordinarily accepted without charge, subject to team availability. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a rebooking fee disclosed before confirmation.
Work already started
Draft working papers, site days completed, and partial registers delivered are chargeable. Refunds do not apply to completed modules of a multi-part engagement.
No-shows
If site access or client contacts are unavailable at the agreed time without timely notice, the site day may be charged and must be rebooked.
Refund process and timing
Email info@cloudapitools.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible.
Exceptions
Engagement letters may set different deposit or cancellation terms for unusually large multi-site reviews; the signed letter prevails for that engagement.
